Powerful Active Ingredients

  • Hoof KAP™ utilizes a concentrated formula to ensure maximum effectiveness:
  • Copper Sulphate (9% w/v): A staple for hoof integrity.
  • Zinc Sulphate (9% w/v): Supports skin and hoof health.
  • Sodium Chloride (4% w/v).
  • Citric Acid (1% w/v).

DIRECTIONS:

Hoof KAP™ is designed for easy integration into your farm routine. For optimal results, follow these steps:

  • Preparation: Mix one 27 kg pail with water to create a 100 L solution. For a standard 200 L footbath, use two pails.
  • Activation: Stir continuously with a rake until the concentrate is fully dissolved. Allow the solution to sit for 30 minutes to thicken prior to use.
  • Application: Ensure the footbath is at least 10 cm deep to submerge hooves to the hairline or just below the dewclaws.
    Frequency:
  • Startup: Run the footbath weekly for 4 consecutive weeks.
  • Maintenance: Adjust to a bi-weekly (once every two weeks) program.
  • Efficiency: One footbath is suitable for approximately 200 cow passes before it requires changing.
